Job Description

ATP's client, based in the Melbourne CBD, is a leading Not-for-Profit organisation investing heavily into their security posture.

  • You will be joining a cyber security team and fulfil a role focused on identifying and investigating security threats and incidents.
  • You will be responsible for responding to new threat intel, remediating vulnerabilities and responding to cyber security incidents.
  • Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Manage cyber security platforms
  • Handle threats and vulnerabilities
  • Incident response
  • Design, deploy and configure cyber technologies
  • Security automation.
  • In addition, you will be involved in 3rd party security assessments, risk register management and assessing security controls.
  • You will be afforded a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, with working from home options.
The Successful Applicant
  • You will have extensive experience in security operations with demonstrable knowledge in SOC activities and security engineering.
  • You will have significant security knowledge a background in incident response, information security and threat hunting.
  • From a technical perspective experience in the following is required:
  • Threat intelligence platforms
  • Email gateways
  • IAM and PAM systems
  • Antivirus systems
  • Intrusion detection and prevention systems.
  • Experience in conducting 3rd party risk assessment, managing risk registers would be advantageous.
