- Providing expert advice and contributing to the IT strategic direction
- Developing and executing long-term infrastructure strategies
- Managing Service Desk activities and managing hardware and software assets
- Managing the organizations server and network infrastructure
- Providing high-quality end user experience through effective SOE
- Ensuring the continued availability of IT services
- Assuming full accountability for IT security posture
- Leading the design and execution of IT operational policies and frameworks
- Establishing strategic vendor partnerships
- You will have x2 direct reports in this role.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in a leadership role managing IT operations, including IT Support/Infrastructure teams
- Demonstrated ability to undertake all activities within the infrastructure lifecycle
- Experience implementing contemporary IT operational strategies, concepts and practices
- Significant experience in Microsoft technologies: AD/AAD/Entra, Group Policy, Exchange, Office 365 and Azure
- Experience building a strong service culture, developing individuals and leading distributed teams
- Understanding of cyber security principles and best practices
