Job Description
ATP is working with a leading organisation to find an experienced .NET Technical Team Lead. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you'll lead a talented team of developers while continuing to stay involved in the technical development process. - Lead a development team in designing, coding, and testing within a mature .NET-based system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage integration's with third-party systems.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing ongoing support and development opportunities.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
- Coordinate and lead Agile ceremonies, including sprints, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
- Collaborate closely with users to assess IT application and equipment needs.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest security and design standards.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in C# or similar programming languages, with solid experience in the Azure ecosystem and .NET framework.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, or MySQL.
- Proficient in software architecture and able to apply this expertise to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Previous leadership experience in software development is highly desirable.
- Ability to participate in after-hours on-call shifts, assisting junior team members when needed and escalating issues appropriately.
What's on Offer
- As part of the role, you will participate in a rotating on-call roster approximately once per week (weekdays and weekends) to provide support. The roster includes additional compensation of $15,000 per year, along with an extra week of leave accrued throughout the year.
